AGM Information and Notice

The Napier Sailing Club AGM is scheduled for Wednesday August 24th at 7.30pm

Official Notice and last year's Minutes will be sent out in the next few weeks with the Financial Statements and Commodore's Report, as usual.

However, you may remember a Rule change from last year with regards to nominations: "Nominations for all positions, including proposer and seconder, shall be lodged with the Napier Sailing Club manager not less than 30 days prior to the AGM. All candidates for office shall be listed in the notice of AGM sent to members. Nominations received late, including those from the floor shall only be accepted where there are insufficient candidates to fill the positons vacant".

Here are the official nominations received within the stated period above: Paul Redman (Commodore), Andrew Kearney (Vice Commodore), Robbie Morrison (Club Captain), Michael Fenwick, Rob Hengst, Adrian Coulthard, Barry Kerr, Rhondda Poon, Graeme Robinson (Racing Secretary, but only if Scott Pedersen does not continue in office).

2017 Flying Fifteen World Championships

 The Napier Sailing Club is proud to host the 21st Flying Fifteen World Championship and the NZ National Championship in February and March 2017.  We expect teams from New Zealand and all over the world to come and enjoy a fantastic competition and all the wonderful attractions Napier has to offer.

Napier Art Deco weekend precedes the Regatta, with the main events taking place 16-19 February (Thursday to Sunday). Intending visitors are encouraged to plan and book accommodation, and to arrive early, to enjoy the Art Deco events.
